I just cam across this site from Girls with Slingshots. Like the story… Any possibility some influence came from the books, Borderland ?
(if not, look them up..

Hey, DFM — thanks for stopping by and reading! I’ve never read the Borderland series, but I’ve heard they’re really good. I will indeed be checking them out. I must have been aware of them when they were published, but I had forgotten about them until after Patrick and I came up with the story and named the Bordlerland Guard. In fact, after I Googled the name and remembered the Borderland series, I thought about changing the name of the Guard to something else… but I could never think of anything I liked as much.
Not sure how I stumbled across this particular comic, but I’m damn glad I did. Great story, and I’m rather hooked now. Keep up the fabulous work!
This is a fantastic read! Can’t wait for the next updatee.
